Memorandum of understanding between IVASS, Banca d'Italia and CONSOB on Alternative Dispute Resolution

IVASS, Banca d’Italia and CONSOB signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Alternative Dispute Resolution. The MoU strengthens collaboration on this issue between the three Authorities and promotes a customer protection system that is increasingly integrated, accessible and in line with market developments and user needs.

The Memorandum promotes the exchange of information, discussion of issues of common interest and the adoption of joint initiatives aimed at increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of out-of-court redress mechanisms, namely: the Banking and Financial Ombudsman at the Bank of Italy, the Financial Disputes Ombudsman at CONSOB and the Insurance Ombudsman at IVASS.
