How to file a complaint

In this section you may check whether a dispute can be submitted to the Insurance Ombudsman (AAS), learn how to file a complaint and how the procedure is carried out.

Consumers will be able to file a complaint with the AAS starting from January 15, 2026.

The whole procedure takes place online through the AAS Web Portal, a simple and interactive tool that assists you in filing a complaint, allows you to verify the status of the complaint, exchange information and documents and receive the decision of the Panel.

You can file a complaint on your own; you do not need the assistance of a consultant. It is always possible to file the complaint through another person holding a power of attorney, or through a consumer association.

You can find all the information you need in the guide in the ‘Documents’ section at the bottom of this page and in the frequently asked questions (FAQ).
